Chinese Culture Handcraft Class

Integration with Language Learning:

The crafts class closely follows the progress of the Chinese language course, developing related Chinese cultural activities into a series of hands-on projects that children love, effectively stimulating their interest in learning.

Language of Instruction:

Bilingual teaching in Chinese and English, with a primary focus on English.

Materials Provided:

We provide all necessary materials for the course, allowing children to create exquisite and innovative crafts themselves. This hands-on experience subtly reinforces the Chinese cultural knowledge learned in the language class.

Activities:

Students will make traditional snacks like tea treats and qingtuan (green rice balls), and create kites. They will also experience fascinating processes like movable type printing and porcelain making.
