Class overview
We adopt the latest edition (7-12) of the classic textbook “Chinese,” specially designed for overseas Chinese students. The curriculum emphasizes Chinese language instruction with equal focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, aiming to cultivate students’ abilities in reading and writing.
A highlight of our school’s teaching approach is the integration of a comprehensive set of subjects including Chinese history, geography, culture, and contemporary issues for all grades. This sequential approach aims to assist students in gradually achieving identity completion within the Australian community language schools, while also passing on the language and culture of their ancestral homeland. Simultaneously, it enhances the curriculum’s liveliness and interest, sparking students’ motivation for autonomous learning of Chinese.
Students with a need for Chinese exam tutoring can look forward to our upcoming ATAR Chinese exam tutoring courses.
For students requiring additional English and mathematics tutoring, please pay attention to the afternoon tutoring courses to be introduced by our school at the end of the year.
