Chinese language enthusiasts in Western Australia now have a new option: Following the establishment of Western Australia’s first Chinese library in 2021, the Australia-China Friendship Association of Western Australia has actively promoted the founding of the Chinese Language School of Western Australia. The West Campus of the Chinese Language School of Western Australia has set its official opening and enrollment date for May 1, 2024! As a non-profit, government-registered community language school, we are committed to providing higher-quality Chinese education services to the Chinese community in Western Australia and to local Australians.
Our school’s mission is “Learn Chinese, Experience Culture, Know Yourself, See the World.” Open the window to Chinese language learning; gain Chinese language skills while experiencing the profound Chinese culture; find your place in the timeline of history and the coordinates of Australia and China; and see the world’s diversity.
Our school offers comprehensive Chinese education for all ages, meeting the needs of learners from different backgrounds. The primary enrollment targets include:
- Australian Chinese children aged 5 to 18
- Local Australian primary and secondary students learning Chinese as a second language
- Adults, institutions, and groups needing professional Chinese training
- Enthusiasts with various needs for Chinese learning
